I moved all the Vector OS posts here from the screenshot thread because it's meant to show what different people's projects looks like, you were drowning out other people with small incremental changes. As a rule of thumb, let a few people post screenshots before you post again, or have some major features. Since there's no Vector OS posts now, feel free to post your best sceenshots there now.
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. :)

Am I missing a passcode? For the initial startup?

Any way I can get that :)

I think you should allow the shell to work by entering "program argument" instead of "program.vcx argument".
I have tried ZeroOS before and the BMP file viewer, so I assume this one works the same, but you should include some BMP files so the user can try it out.
Will there be a nightly release every night? How close are you to version 0.1?

The shell is still under development, keep in mind this is just the first release.
The BMP file viewer is a port of the ZeroOS one, and it works exactly the same way. Maybe I should include some BMP files.
No, there will not be releases every night, and version 0.1 alpha is nowhere soon yet.

Thanks for trying it out!

But I don't work on my OS every day. I don't have new features to show every night. If I do release something every night, there wouldn't even be a difference between the releases. :s

So then don't call it a nightly build.

What would you like me to call it? They are definitely not alpha or pre-alpha.

Why? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_ ... life_cycle
Upd: Actually, your system may be on pre-alpha stage.

You should change "Nightly build" to "Demo build", "Demo release" or "Demo".
Edit: As I did.
