Does it matter?

Wow, weird...
But I'll post some 3dsmark results as soon as I got my PC at proper speeds...
But I noticed that vista uses significantly more CPU power, where as before I could get in the 16000 3dsmarks without any problems, now I'm finding it hard to hit 15000...

It's also less stable, at 3.5GHz XP was perfectly stable, under vista, I can barely start up any apps without turning up the voltages way high...

I got a beautiful one that likes to play games all day and works on computers! I never thought it was possible until I found her. She actually wants to play games more than me and it is crazy, because I used to want to play them more then anyone else (*ironic*). Anything is possible I guess!
Vista, acted way too weird for me about a year ago. I have tried it just a little a month or so ago and it seemed okay. Has anyone else had a bunch of problems?

Well, girls here aren't interested in computers.
16 000 3DMarks? Oh my god. I cranked my HD3850 to 720/2000 (1000MHz one DDR) and it did result in 8700 3DMarks (catalyst 8.6, but they were woefully unstable)... Which 3DMark are you using? 05 or 06? Because I've got ~15000 3D marks at the 05 version... the both versions I have are full, not demo.
Anyways I can't imagine a OSdev girl. It's just plain wrong... and funny too. Imagine a conversation in one married couple: "Honey, I've finished the floppy driver in our OS. Could you implement paging?"
//EDIT: Cranked the HD 3850 from original 669/829 to 770/1040, using the stock cooling and Catalyst 8.4 (8000 3Dmarks)... During ATI tray tool's artifact tester, the card survived 500 seconds without any artifacts and during that same test, the maximum temperature of the GPU was 82°C, when the fan was running at 80%.
Now it's benchmarking time - and now I've set the fan speed to 100%, if the temperature will rise above 70°C (all done using rivatuner).
//EDIT 2: Above settings were unstable, 3Dmark06 freezed at the firefly forest demo.
I've overclocked the card to 760/1030 and it ran the benchmark, I've seen no artifacts.
3DMark06: 1280x1024, NoAA, "filtering: Optimal", default tests, Sapphire Radeon HD 3850 256 MB VRAM:
Catalyst 8.4, standard clocks (629/829): 7980 3DMarks
Catalyst 8.4, 720/1000: 8479 3DMarks
Catalyst 8.4, 760/1030: 8794 3DMarks
Hmm... Seems that the Catalysts 8.6 scored in 720/1000 as much as in 8.4's 760/1030... but the drivers were very unstable for me.
I'm continuing to benchmark in games. If the 760/1030 (read 760/2060 for both DDR's) will fail to work properly, I'm underclocking back to 629/829.

My friends fiance was a huge WoW geek and she meet this guy online playing WoW and she left her fiance (my friend) for the WoW dude, LMFAO!! He found out because she left her email open and she sent the WoW dude nude pics of her self, which is both fubar and funny at the same time!! She was a hotty too, so you better take care. Put a keylogger on her PC and guard your assets.
I had a CS professor that was kind of cute even though she was old; however, still a MILF for sure. Other than her, all the ladies I have seen, though talented and welcome, they are extremely boring and mostly dirty and ugly (yeah, I said it); the ones I have met don't seem like the type that like to have fun the way I do; that's all I'm saying. You know, they just want to constantly glorify some weak Java application they wrote and challenge you to crack their lame ciphers. And, then after 5 months straight of stalking her you would think that she would just learn to love you at some point, but does she, NO, she just keeps calling the police and getting restraining orders against you... stupid restraining orders.
You only think it is cool to have a lady that shares your love for the PC, but in the long run she will only compete with you and it will become annoying IMHO. I don't know, I guess I prefer my girl friend to be computer illiterate because I just know she'd be all hacking into my pc (key loggers, RATS, etc) and I'd have to kill her and I just don't want to have to kill another girlfriend... twice is enough.
Go dumb girls!

1) Keyloggers are an invasion of personal privacy, full stop. I cannot believe that anybody would support their use.
2) I take offense at the term 'MILF', it is derogatory and sexist.
3) If you find them boring, you probably haven't talked to them enough. Everybody is interesting. Even the guy down the road who works in the tax office.
4) Everybody has to start somewhere... even with a Java application. I started with Java applets. There are an awful lot more male programmers than female, and an awful lot of male programmers who never make it past Java applets and lame ciphers.
5) Stalking women is bad. I should hope you get restraining orders.
6) Competiton is good. I would prefer my girlfriend to be challening me. Some of the best times I've had are talking philosophy with my (now) ex-girlfriends.
7) Trust them, they will trust you. And that applies for all human interaction, basically.
I really hope that post was a joke.

I think girls are are equally smart as we are and they do look really nice.
my girlfriend is damn good at coding and damn hot too.
it does not have to do any thing with girl or boy.
they just pretend to be ignorent.

When I came home after 8 hours of CS schooling, I talked to my girlfriend about what happened that day. I was stunned how easily she grasped all that stuff. I suggested she should do some CS schoolign herself, so she did.
Today I'm married to a Sun Certified Java Programmer. To the envy to most of my coworkers whose wifes don't understand a thing of what they're doing.

No, that post was serious. It's cool though because I killed her. Check it, this part is hilarious:
6) Competiton is good. I would prefer my girlfriend to be challening me. Some of the best times I've had are talking philosophy with my (now) ex-girlfriends.
Notice, ex-girlfriends.. my point exactly.
On a serious note:
01. Keyloggers are an invasion of privacy and if I were to use one I would 1) write it myself and 2) only use it to spy on my loved ones (and others on occasion for educational purposes of course). In fact I am quite ethical indeed.
As for the rest of your list I refuse to comment on them as it was apparent that I was joking (hopefully, maybe not since I have actually stalked and killed several women in my life but not recently; however based on my likeliness to stalk and kill a person is very high like 1-2 odds, then I can see why I might be taken seriously). As for the talk to them more (blah blah), come on man, please be real with me. If I think someone is lame then getting to know them better isn't going to help their case any. Java is weak, if you started there then you don't like to challenge yourself and you will never know how to code well as you have already been subject to bad practice. The term MILF is not something I made up, a MILF is a real person. It is simply a women in her elder years who still looks attractive which in most cases I would think would be a complement. Let the ladies decide that one, fight for our side man. Don't be so strict with yourself, really you can have fun and still be brilliant.

what the hell omega?
Stalking and killing women isn't something you joke about, as there are people who are effected by these issues and you could seriously offend certain people even by using them in a joking manner...
As for the use of the term 'MILF', I believe it is highly offensive term, because it portrays a woman as a sex object and nothing else (all be it giving a certain amount of description simultaneously...)
Seriously though, have you ever been put under a restraining order?
If you have, I can understand your attitude...
I have actually never meet a women who can program in my life, so I won't comment on how challenging/interesting it is, but I find that any form of generalization is an extremely bad thing as it can only lead to some form of segregation.
As for not wanting to have a 'boring' girlfriend who knows about computers, surely a true loving relationship has to based not only on just love, but on common ground so why not PCs, self confessedly, computing is an extremely important part of my life and if I could find somebody that I could love and could share my interests simultaneously, wouldn't that be the best form of love?
Then again I'm only 16 and my assertions are based on an idealistic idea of what love is, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

As for my 3dsmark results, they where taken with '06, I haven't be able to do the benchmarks because of various family related problems, everything been hectic...
So I'm going to do it tomorrow morning (It's quite late here), sorry for taking so much time...
And yes I do get around 14000-15000 on 3dsmark under vista and I had 16-17000 under XP...
