No need to be mean!

I'm going to reply to this then let it lie.zaleschiemilgabriel wrote:James, I respect you so I do not expect anything from you. I understand that you think yourself superior because you wrote a tutorial that helps lots of people here, and you are (the tutorial helped me a lot too), but I want to do things a bit different, not be a copy-cat.
Also I think that what you said before about me instigating everybody also applies to you. If you keep calling me a troll, that's what I'll become!
*throws tomato*zaleschiemilgabriel wrote:So because you didn't see any code you judge me by personality and forum presence? That's low!
Good. have a tomato. you deserved itYes, I guess I am fickle
As said, you have no proof. In fact the reason that we have never seen any is just evidence of the contrary.but only with people, not with my code!
*throws tomato*Please do not judge me anymore, as I have not judged any of you.
*throws tomato*I merely pointed out something about C that you do not like. Developers get paid more to code in C/C++ than in any other language, but only because it's a waste of time, not because it can be used to achieve good quality.
You can do just about anything in C. *throws tomato* C was designed to be a low level system programming language. That does not make it flawed *throws tomato* or even faulty *throws tomato*The fame of the language certainly is not enough for me to limit myself to it's heap of impossibilities, flaws or faults.
Ooooh so sad. Our little troll doesn't even know its heritageI only agree to being a troll because everybody accuses me of it, not because I think I am one!
You are entitled to your opinion. However, causing a fight over such a thing makes you a troll, and insulting people because they believe otherwise is just unacceptable. If acting like a troll is what I have to do to get something, then so be it, but I will not abandon my beliefs just to please everybody's greed for C or for copying already-written code.
That explains a lot, you're afraid it will harm yourself.I only think that keeping information inside code that tends to get singular in nature instead of inside articles/tutorials is damaging to those who are not single-minded.
Thanks, and I'd like to return the compliment.JamesM wrote:I do not think myself superior to anyone. I look up to and respect immensely the words of many people on this forum, Brendan, Solar and Combuster being the fore-runners. I have, in fact, tried (I do not know how successfully) to model my style of replies in the same form that Brendan uses.
Ha! You didn't say anything about that! That must mean I am right there... You guys want code because you can't write your own! Otherwise, I just don't see the point of this desperate insistence that I offer you code...I have been labeled to be a troll because I don't post any code! That's stupid!
*throws a melon*EDIT: If it's so important to you and to the way I get judged, I will post all my code and I'll explain in detail what I'm trying to do, but I feel I will only do more harm that way than good.
Shut up whining. We can't force you to release your code.It would also make me feel robbed of something personal, but I can ignore that.
Because whatever code you wrote does not make a difference.Or if you want I could send any of you the code, but I feel that everything that has already been said will influence whoever looks at it.
And once again YOU DID NOT READ WHAT EVERYBODY SAID.I have been labeled to be a troll because I don't post any code! That's stupid!
