For a nice free game for Linux and Windows alike, try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - have never tried the Linux version but it should play exactly the same as the Windows one.

Its not a single program, but without Windows, it would be very hard for me to develop an OS :D

Other then that:
Firefox - Without it, The following would be hard to get
