The Question Game
Re:The Question Game
I hate them both!!!! I like the dual G5 towers (especially with 30inch screens!!), Mac Minis and Powerbooks though.

Re:The Question Game
I'd go the PSP for it's flexibility, as a picture viewer, mp3 player, handheld game console etc
White or Dark chocolate?
White or Dark chocolate?
Re:The Question Game
Mu, you're speaking in European terms I don't know because I'm an ignorant, stupid American .
Summer or winter?
Summer or winter?
Re:The Question Game
Winter!!!!!!! It's a lot easier to rug up than to strip off, and is more socially acceptable Considering we get upwards of 35 degrees celcius during summer it doens't help my decision...
Ummmmmmmm Ball Point or Fountain Pens?
Ummmmmmmm Ball Point or Fountain Pens?
Re:The Question Game
Ball point! I'm left handed and tend to smudge horribly with a fountain pen.
Toys of old, or Toys of new?
Toys of old, or Toys of new?
Re:The Question Game
Have you ever been to a toy store lately? Toys of old. They tend to be more educating, make less noise and usually don't run out of battery power.
(My wife and myself threw together our childhood stores to come up with a whooping 12 boxes of Fischer Technik for our girl. Boy if I only had that many parts when I was young...)
d6, d10, or d20?

d6, d10, or d20?
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

D8 of course, what do you think I am, a peasant?Solar wrote: Have you ever been to a toy store lately? Toys of old. They tend to be more educating, make less noise and usually don't run out of battery power.

d6, d10, or d20?
Fighter or barbarian?
Re:The Question Game
Solar and Candy, why not just get the full set?
If I had to choose though, I'd get a d4, it's pretty original for a dice.

Re:The Question Game
Well, because somebody screwed up putting together my set and inserted another d10 instead of a d12. So, I can not play a barbarian... unless you count a d6 and a d2 as a d12...Eero R?nik wrote: Solar and Candy, why not just get the full set?

d4's are kind of weird since they don't roll very well and they aren't clear in numbering (some at the bottom some at the top, which is confusing).
Re:The Question Game
You consider that "full"? Heck, I have a d30 and a d100 (!) at home, what about them?
Personally, I really like the d8, because of its symetry. In game terms, the higher the number of sides, the more rulemongering is usually involved. As much as I like the d20 fantasy RPG's, the speediest gameplay I had with d6 games. (No, don't tell me to try a d4 based one, or I counter by suggesting to toss a coin. )

Re:The Question Game
d4 - four sided dice
d6 - six sided dice (what average people consider to be "normal")
d8 - eight-sided dice
d10 - ten-sided dice
Also see http://members.aol.com/dicetalk/polyh1.htm. (And I was wrong about the nice symetrical ones - I meant d12, not d8. Too long no play...)
Those non-six-siders are commonly used in role-playing games like D&D. And roleplaying is, along with martial arts, one of the most frequent hobbies among computer geeks.
