Have you ever been to a toy store lately? Toys of old. They tend to be more educating, make less noise and usually don't run out of battery power.

(My wife and myself threw together our childhood stores to come up with a whooping 12 boxes of Fischer Technik for our girl. Boy if I only had that many parts when I was young...)

Well, because somebody screwed up putting together my set and inserted another d10 instead of a d12. So, I can not play a barbarian... unless you count a d6 and a d2 as a d12...

d4's are kind of weird since they don't roll very well and they aren't clear in numbering (some at the bottom some at the top, which is confusing).

You consider that "full"? Heck, I have a d30 and a d100 (!) at home, what about them?

Personally, I really like the d8, because of its symetry. In game terms, the higher the number of sides, the more rulemongering is usually involved. As much as I like the d20 fantasy RPG's, the speediest gameplay I had with d6 games. (No, don't tell me to try a d4 based one, or I counter by suggesting to toss a coin. )

d4 - four sided dice
d6 - six sided dice (what average people consider to be "normal")
d8 - eight-sided dice
d10 - ten-sided dice

Those non-six-siders are commonly used in role-playing games like D&D. And roleplaying is, along with martial arts, one of the most frequent hobbies among computer geeks.
