Or you could just go to a reputable manufacturer like Samsung. It wouldn't surprise me if you got a counterfeit SSD.

I've already gone to the windows registry pci enumeration and there is no evidence of the adapter in the pci config

Teamgroup is a reputable manufacturer. Counterfeit Samsung products exist too.
