What's up here? I 'm away for some days and what's going on? Some bashing and jumping, god bless me, that my ol'gran 'd turn left to right in her tomb, big gosh beware.

I do not see where Candy is full of himself in this post, in which he gives a bunch a links. They're useful, and besides a bit of chasitising for that lad isn't soo obad in my eyes.

stay safe and ... please ... calm down. I try too.

Once again this is OSDEV forum, not happy-new-year and make-me-happy forum, this forum is more like help-me-to-do-the-job kind of forum.

You provided a helpful link, which is laudable. Candy provided several helpful links, and pointed out that the question could have been easily solved by the person himself.

This forum stands head and shoulders above most others, because it provides an excellent signal/noise ratio (e.g., "happy new year's" contained in one thread). We are trying to sustain this quality, by pointing out the sticky threads and the FAQ, which netiquette teaches you to consult before making a post.

We are answering the same questions over and over and over. DJGPP, GRUB, basic C syntax and procedures. When we get tired of it, we can point out the futility, or get fed up and leave the forum.

When we do the former, I don't think it is up to you to criticize us for doing so, as it is what a Moderator is expected to do.

Candy and Solar are friends, and they have had and still have my full support in the way they moderate the OS-related boards.
