And wrongly, too. "Hunger" is always with a capital 'H', same for "Durst" and "Essen" (they are nomens, things, they are always written with capital letter). And it's "Wo bleibt das Essen".

You did realise when you got your daughter that children's verses are a part of raising a child?

We dearly hope that we can teach our little one songs that aren't as... perished with overuse. Both my wife and I are singers, and have assembled quite a repertoire over the years, including nice children songs that don't make every adult in earshot wince and groan.

As long as you don't teach her opera songs when she's three or such...

OK, I admit. There are a lot more structural and more contentual children songs around in most languages.

I didn't meant to say more complicated songs, just some that aren't as stupid and overused as that one.
