Nick, if I send you my icons, would you mind making the executables for me? Just like SQ0 and Exposure? It would make the world a better place for me. What address can I send them to you. You can private message me if you like.

Thanks!

Rich

I'm so excited!

Okay, I don't mean to be a bastard and keep bumping this thread but I can't get this to work. I can't change the frickin' icon on the NAGI file I have. I've tried AWicons and ResHack as Lostalim suggested. Perhaps I didn't do this right somehow. The program becomes corrupt with this technique and the game doesn't run! Please, someone please! Help me with detailed instructions of how to do this that you have gotten to work yourself! Or do it for me...

Or help me, Nick Sonneveld... who seems to have dropped from existance... you may be my only hope...

The bad news for everyone out there who is as excited as I am, my game is 100% complete, and this is in fact the ONLY thing keeping me from releasing the game.

Later,
Rich

Maybe this could help or this could help.
Unfortunately these programs are shareware :(

Unfortunately, I've already tried those two programs and neither of them worked for me. But thanks for trying... :'(

I Lostalim,

I downloaded your game and you did a fantastic job there switching the icons over. You could tell me now, the exact steps you used to switch the icon over. I may be missing something completely! Thanks, buddy.

Btw, does your name mean that you lost a limb like an arm or a leg or something. I hope not, man. Regardless, it's a cool screen name. Talk to you later.

If you are using the interpreter bundled with Enclosure, keep in mind that it's 'packed' with an 'exe-packer' or whatever people call them today. So just using ResHack will corrupt it. I believe UPX, the program that has been used to pack the executable, can also be used to unpack it afterwards. You can get UPX for free at
http://upx.sourceforge.net/

Perhaps this will help...

Holy Crap!

That was it! That was the exact problem! I was trying to switch the icon for Enclosure. I was doing that because Nick told me that Enclosure was the only way to get the most recent version of NAGI. Well, it works now just fine! UPX unpacker is exactly what needed to be done. I thank you so much, HWM... wonderful mystery human.

The game will now be released in a day or two... I just need to change one thing since I've now deemed it un-PC... imagine that... I deem something inappropriate.
