Ah, the good old 486... I still remember my dad hat a laptop with that CPU at the time, and it was really fast. I was so amazed and used to love playing games on it, like some Mario game where he travelled around the world. At that time it was on 5 disks and filled up a lot of the hardrive (seen percentagewise ;D).

And I still remember having one of those with a turbo button, and we used to play good old Prince of Persia on it... and because there was competition, right when one person was playing the other would push the turbo button and it would only go half as fast... ::)

How fast was the 486 actually?

Yeah, it was. You just kept on jumping, trying to get through closing doors as quickly as possible and trying to avoid spikes that suddenly came from the floor. And then at some points there were pretty hard fights with the baddies. They released a second part later that had snakes and many more cool things. They also released a third, 3D one, but it didn't have the gameplay and that feel to it like the two previous ones.

I always fell to my doom... ;-D

Win XP isn't exactly backwards compatible as it is based on WIN2K, which is based on WINNT

Yep! get the Win2K Tweak UI, though, as it has alot more features.

It lets you do alot more stuff. Download both of them, and you'll see what I mean.
