That is not always true. My high school computer teacher has a masters degree in computer science, and I know more about both Java and C++ than her (and she hasn't even heard of assembly).

Also, I don't expect every university to have the same programme as mine. (there was a reason why my university is in worlds top 40... just maybe... :wink:)

Mine was in the top 5 (in the US)... but they teach Java in the intro to CS class. That is why the ECE department came up with its own intro programming class that was in C/asm.
