Maybe feeding him is not the right course of action.

IP bans are useless in most cases. Even more so for people that hang around at OS development forums that obviously have at least an elementary understanding of technology.

If this site implements unique E-Mail registration techniques, then why not just set a ban on the email address and that will force him to have to sign up for a new email every time he/she needs to sign up for this site. After about 5-10 rounds of this, it will get old and slow, and probably he/she will give up. But I have a feeling that it is ok to sign up here with the same email address again and again.

Show him WoW, but make him Alliance on Shu'halo so I can slaughter him repeatedly. Don't really care if corpse camping is mean, this guy deserves it.

EDIT: And yeah, DNFTT is a good idea but with this dipstick it's hard.

Apparently the phrase "get a life" needs definition for both parties.

Well, at least you admit it, I know people who spend 8+ hours a day on WoW and they honestly believe they have lives. As long as a 'life' can be managed with the playing of games like WoW, it's really not an issue.

Thanks for the congratulations, I hope at least some of that 1k helped people out here. =)

Thank you all for interesting on my topic

but @ this moment i can't decide what is the right linux distro.
should addopt for my old laptop

ok, i had windows 98 se on it,but it's trash :?

laptop included part's (continued...)

laptop manufacture MiTAC
infrared port
systemSoft bios
video adaptor Trident microsystems 2 MB directDraw 1.00

I tried puppy linux before 2 days ago,
nice distro. but worked bit slow
when installed puppy linux i created
root,swap partition
and i'am not noticed that there is about 100MB of hardDisk temp as (save to disk bios feature) & by error i erased that partition :(

in fact i have real probelm with this bios,
F2->BIOS->power->customize->suspend data to->disk

the bios tell me

partition doesn't exist!!
save to disk feature disabled
hit any key to exit

what kind of partition is that

Methinks your BIOS expects a FAT16 partition or something like that so save to. Don't know for sure, though.
