how did you come up with that about owner ship you need to discuss the situation at hand before you start talking owner ship, and what company is gonna back some dev to give them full owner ship like are you on drugs. serious dev know how that work i see your from slovokia that's why you act like this. no disrespect but i don't think you know what to do asking for such high numbers only leads to nothing you know buy low sell high, now this would be a good way to fund your own projects and if you want to release it under my company fine if you dont fine just trying to help up coming devs with getting recognized for there work, establishing a track record you have know clue do you.

*drops over laughing*
, seriously?
He asked for a billion dollars, because you wouldn't give us any ownership and he was quoting for a one man dev (I think...)
The thing is today, it's very hard to get people to change OS, because their already hard set in their ways, changing OS requires retraining, so at best, all you can really make, if you want it to be taken up on any sort of time frame, it needs to be a clone (User interface and executable running ability wise....)
25mill whats? rupees?
(No offense to any Indians...)
Jules
ok how much to make a clone like every ones something about linux you take that then what you clone it add what you want it to do and take away whats not needed

i m shopping around right now and i know i m gonna find the team i need how does 25 mill per dev per year sound, and part owner ship?
Sure thing. $25m a year sounds pretty good for OS development. I'm sure you'll be able to find the money.
You either have a severely distorted view of the world, or AAAAAAA++++++++ WOULD GET TROLLED AGAIN

Dude, now your starting to get me pissed off. I posted a reply for you to go where others might actually take you seriously (or not) and you decided to ignore my post and continue to reply to this thread. I said it nice, now I am saying it again, GET LOST! I'd like to see what you do to wise guys.

Just expect to have a bit of your dreams smashed with Voice Recognition not being as cool as you think or as reliable as you think, and the one icon to rule them all is just weird, why? You have no idea how hard it is to do what you are asking, that is why you are getting bad posts in return. However, let this one be a good one for you, one that encourages you to keep trying, but somewhere else. Good Luck.

Now that's better. As for your description, I have to say that could be done by just about any well-experienced programmer if given the time to research and understand the AI technology. I have a few friends that are into that stuff, but they couldn't do this I think as they are more theoretical than literal at the moment.
It's a cool concept, I hope you get it done. Like I said, try Rent-A-Coder.com. Good Luck.

This is why I think you might be trolling...
1) Complete lack of understanding of the tech involved ('make your own software' site)
2) Absurd, comical claims of vast amounts of money (despite supposedly being an 'investment advisor')
3) Very, very sloppy English (full stop key broken)?
If you're for real, sorry to sound harsh, but you're not going to get anywhere with those three points. Spend six months learning about the technology, the state of the market (it's very, very hard to break into), and be more presentable with your posts. At the current stage, with no real knowledge and sloppy writing, you won't find many people taking you seriously. Good luck, but you have a lot to learn...

He's just messing around, but one question, are you inquiring about this for your personal interest or for a company?
The problem is that you don't seem to understand the amount of time it will take to put this together, if you want a proper product, firstly, it's always a good idea to do enough research to know the basics of what your planing a project on and you don't really think that 4 coders will get a full XP style OS, nearly completely bugless system in any easy time frame by just 4 coders....
You also should have a high level drawn out concept...
When I said 25mill rupees, I was joking, it's just because you didn't specify a currency....

Trolling means that you are saying rubbish/acting in a way to purposefully (or not in some cases
) annoy people...
Any better definitions?

yes this is for a company not tryin to infringe or anything and any thing is possible we do but we cant tell you exactly what we want until we know we got the right persons with the credentials to go along we want a new os system even if it means developing a computer that it will only run on see where i m going with this not just one product this can lead to more products supply and demand the demand is there for this its just some major corps are trying to milk the profits of old products that's why they release the same product tech with like 1 or 2new things added believe me i know the market its time for something new.
