I haven't had much time to check out your site but so far it shows promise. You've already assembled a large amount of data and I hope it keeps growing.

I think the site is nice and fast but I don't see why we need another site collecting articles about OSDev, why not just add them to the OSDev wiki and keep all the information in one place instead of scattering it around again (which we're both trying to prevent).

- Did you respect the copyright of the texts you copied to your site? Currently, all the contents at int6.org have been posted by you, not the respective copyright owner.
- Much of the information on your site is copied from somewhere else. How do you keep your contents in sync with the originals? (Wiki articles here at osdev.org, for example, are continuously improved and extended. And what happens if material is improved at your site - will the improvements flow back to the original locations?)
- Much of the information on your site is not immediately available, but only as "downloadable file", which requires the user to first register with your site (I assume, since I am not registered and banned from downloading), then go from the forum page through a download page through the downloaded file to even get a first impression of the contents. This sucks.
- In your Site Rules & User Agreement, you make statements like "You agree, through your use of this service..." - but these statements are not displayed prominently at the "register" page of your site.
- Overall, I consider the presentation of material to be poor, since it is without meaningful introduction or structure. (A criticism which I likewise aim at the "Short View" of wiki.osdev.org.)
- I seriously doubt the usefulness of a voting system to rate OS-development related articles. IMNSHO, it will favour "spoon-feeding" articles. I quote Phillip's Law: "Four-wheel drive just means getting stuck in more inaccessible places."
No stars from me, sorry.

Categorisation stinks. I have to sift through 11 pages of material to find what I would be looking for.
And so does the search function - searching on VBE finds nothing, even though the relevant document exists and it has VBE listed in the title.
And I couldn't find even half the OS or hardware-related documents I have on my computer.
I do like the idea of having a mirror site for all sorts of documentation, but it should Just Work. This one doesn't.

* All the materials itself includes the copyrights and links to original websites of the material. Additionally i'll be also adding a custom field for downloads section which will have the proper copyright information.
* I agree with sync. issues but the the main idea is around mirroring content around from the net. I do personally know a lot of valuable content that dis-appeared after a time.
* Downloads needs a registration right now but come on, you can register once and get all the files.
* For presentation i completely agree with you but please keep in mind that i'll improve the catalog structure. Right now i'm just importing all my back-ed up stuff and when i'm done, i'll re-index and categorize them accordingly.
* Voting system is just there because it's a core function of the software.
Thanks for the criticism, hopefully i'll increase the site structure accordingly.
@combuster, same applies for your critisim also i think, i'm still uploading the content and when i'm done i'll apply a more detailed categorization for the stuff..

Very nice looking site!
I still don't see why we need
another OSDev site(we have two or three)

the answer is mirroring the content. please be sure that every material itself includes the proper copyrights and i'll be adding proper information also in summaries.

(The problem with OS development is that after some time, it distorts your perception of reality...
