Another vote for 70/80 stuff. And the Rock&Roll classics, Heavy, Hardrock, and the occassional Classic spree.

Oh, and I do filk, both listening and active.
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

I like punk, rock and heavy metal. I mostly listen to The Offspring, Greenday, NOFX, Nickelback, Metallica, Evanescence and Linkin Park.

I used to listen to Trance and the like, but it's not really me.

Bowie, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Bloodhound Gang, The Offspring, MF DOOM, Golden Earring, Sash!, ATB, Scooter( :P ), Mc Plus+ all are on the top part of my playlist currently

Never liked trance though

Trance is good stuff. Armin van Buuren FTW. Also handsup, a bit of hardstyle, jumpstyle. I dont like rap and similar genres though. It just drives me crazy. Rock and metal and the like is also a no-go.
