Seriously, the thread title reads: "Half Life". So don't start about GTA.

Good lord. I've seen rumors about Half life EP3 mixed with Portal gun. Noooooooo! That would ruin the game completely
They should add more levels, soldiers and heavy guns into it. I wouldn't mind for a M249, minigun or the nuclear warhead launcher gun thing.

Anyways Valve commented that EP3 will not be at this year's E3 summit, I don't really care 'bout that, but on other side that signals that the EP3 will not be released this year.

Get me Portal with a hand-held rocket launcher, and I'll be happy to waste a perfectly good weekend

Well, I've downloaded Czech subtitles translation for episode one and I must say - it sucks. The only good translation for the original HL2 is from guys nicknamed Kopulkon, Polis and Vitas, because the translation for EP1 is too much "literal" from English and it sounds too awkwardly in Slovak/Czech.

I've kept English in it, I think it's better than those shodded translation subtitles.

Some examples from "transliterated EP1"... translated back from Czech to English:

original: "These lamps are quite hot!" -> "These lamps are quite fragile!"
"Riding shotgun" -> "Riding in shotgun" (?!)
"This vortal coil" -> "This vortal loop" /may be OK/
"Lowlife" -> "Weak life" (I think it should be "Life underground" or unchanged "Lowlife", since it happens underground)
"Wake up Mr Freeman, wake up and smell the ashes" -> "Wake up, Mr Freeman. Wake up." (totally without 'color' or something... in Naetoo's original HL2 translation)
"3rd party technology credits" -> "Third side technology captions"
etc.

erm, I think i can translate EP1 without any assistance.
