How about your laundry machine, your stereo or the braking assistant in your car?

That's part of what ARM's are used for.

i know, that why i want to aquaint my self with it, but if im going out to spent alot of money on this im not getting something which can only be used as a refrigirator part. Otherwise i could just aswell by myself a $10 mobilephone.

You can use it as a webserver, a firewall, as computer for your personal starship enterprise (complete with voice I/O)...

If you're looking for something that can be used as a desktop, I suggest you look for a x86 / x64, as they have pretty much eliminated all competition in the segment...

If i was going for a desktop like thingy i woul be thinking laptop. There have been a few trys from various companys, but none of them seems to have been a succes, which is odd i think. A superthin, super battery saving, super efficient laptop would certainly be something i would consider buying.

Anyway, i dont think i want to buy anything overseas, it will probably be much too expensive, and i cant seem to find any shops in denmark, sweden, germany, etc. which can provide me with any such parts.I will probably have to settle for the epia en12000eg
