Sorry i do not use emulators and Good arm one are in short supply .
Your best bet is to start learning ARM code, is to start coding for the GBA or DS, as there good info and good emulators to test your code.

Try the above GBA code in that emulator, there a built in debugger etc.

QEMU has a builtin ARM emulator (qemu-system-arm).
