All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

In no particular order:
For Mac OS X / Windows:
  • Adium / Pidgin
  • uTorrent
  • VLC
  • Firefox
For UNIX:
  • bash
  • man
  • gcc
  • ssh
I thought it was unfair that we had no lists of 4, when we had 3, 5 and 6.

Can't decide on an order:

* GNU Emacs (This hasn't been mentioned yet???)
* Firefox
* MPlayer

Though without bash I would have much less of a reason to use Linux, and Pidgin's not bad, though it's a little unstable.

  1. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  2. Safari
  3. Sparx Enterprise Architect (UML tool)
Top three reasons why my OS project died:
  1. Too much overtime at work
  2. Got married
  3. My brain got stuck in an infinite loop while trying to design the memory manager
Don't let this happen to you!
