I use to have one powerful workstation in my house, and other machines are configured to use distcc. It's working pretty fine, although there are ebuilds that go wild when compilation is distributed....and other people shake their heads when I turn on my game machine just to install an app on my laptop.Solar wrote:I went from a 500 MHz PIII to a 1,6 GHz CoreDuo... imagine the joy when KDE took less than a day.
