This happens in Spanish
a lot!. Some programs even differentiate between the Spanish dialects of
almost all different Latin American countries. A funny example. On Costa Rica, and almost all other dialects:
¿Podría darme una pajilla con mi bebida, porfavor?
Means "Could you give me a straw with my beverage, please?", meanwhile in México, it means "Could you give me male genitalia (WTF?!) with my beverage, please?"
. Syntatically, there are only three things that differentiate Spanish from English: the symbols "¡", "¿", and "ñ".

Not sure what you mean. The alphabet/characters used aren't the syntax of a language, but even if you were talking about that, what about letters with accent marks?
The actual syntax (i.e. the way sentences are constructed) has probably quite a few more differences between English and Spanish.

Wir schauen nur hin und wieder mal vorbei, nur damit uns dieser Thread nicht wegstirbt. Irgendwann werden wir nen Mod schon dazu bringen ihn hier rauszubewegen

Unserer hier wird wohl nicht so schnell eingeholt werden. BTW, ich weiß nicht ob die neue Rechtschreibung in den Niederlanden schon angekommen ist, aber "daß" ist seit einigen Jahren falsch, "dass" ist richtig
