The Intel Core 2 Due CPU's are x86-64 chips, Just find a distribution that has a x86-64 port.
OpenBSD supports "Intel 64" processors via it's amd64 port.
(You'll find quite a few x86-64 ports named amd64.. named after the company who designed it. )

It does'nt matter the proccessor name. you have to know 1 thing. Your Processor's Code Base:
Intel:
x86 (Most notable is i386) and x64 (64-Bit Processors)
AMD:
Same Thing but diffrent way to process things compared to Intel
