I named my computer Mr. Speed because it's so fast. I made it so fast because I have O.C.D and part of that is that I can't stop optimizing it.

My computers are named:

- Blackbox - testing rig that is in a fully black case. Fastest machine in the room, about to get an upgrade for also being a gaming rig and file backup (on a RAID 5 setup)
- The windows thing - the computer I'm typing this on right now since blackbox is broken.
- Laptop - guess why it's called that?
The other 6.7 computer don't have a name and are barely used. One of them was a laptop but is now in parts (hence the .7).

Raid is so 20th century.. Just use Windows Home Server. And then do nightly backups (which equal to <100 MB each, since it only saves changes on a clusters-by-cluster basis).

No, NeXT is so 1995. Windows is so 1984-wannabe. :P
Top three reasons why my OS project died:
  1. Too much overtime at work
  2. Got married
  3. My brain got stuck in an infinite loop while trying to design the memory manager
Don't let this happen to you!
