Programmer friendly dice

Post by uglyoldbob »

I found a very strange 6 sided dice last week. Instead of the normal (1,2,3,4,5,6) this dice was labeled (2,4,8,16,32,64). I thought it was pretty cool so I kept it.
Anybody else seen a dice like this?
I have an 80386SX 20MHz 2MB RAM.
It is my testbed platform. Only has the 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drives.

It's probably a "Backgammon Doubling Cube": http://www.gamesonboard.co.uk/p/backgam ... be/77/1193

my kernel uses that to figure out how much MB's of rams a system has :D

That's good to know. I would have just thought it was some weird dice.
