Mort - January 2007 Snapshot Online!

I am pleased to announce that the first snapshot for the 0.6 series is available for download. The main goal for the 0.6 series is an installable system, and we now provide packages that can be used to install Mort onto a real computer. While we don't yet have a working install system, with a little voodoo you can install it onto a real computer.

Most of the improvements in this version are not visible to the casual user, some of them include
  • IRQ sharing
    Basic IRQ auto probe
    VFS stability improvements
    Lots of bugs fixed

However the most notable improvement is the drastic reduction in size of the hard drive image, which is now only about 12mb.
