All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

YELP!!! Linux keyboard keymaps are gonna eat me!

Post by Cheery »

At last I _decided_ to add my native language symbols into my keyboard but there are some problems on the way: I can't get the keyboard mappings to work!

Keyboard mappings are things in /etc/shared/keymaps/

I tried to modify my keymap from a dvorak keymap, but when I put it back as dvorak-fih, it doesn't work!

I'm soon about to give up, is there tools for handling with those kmaps and how do they work? I tried google and found there are damn much things where search engines do fail.
Windows Vista rapes you, cuts you and pisses inside. Thought these are just nifty side-effects.
