What do you think of my website, http://htcprogramming.netfirms.com? Do you like it? If not, do you have any suggestions so I can make it better (other than paying for a non-free webhost, which is an option that, being a kid with no job whose parents won't pay for a webhost, is quite impossible)? It took me four days to make, and it doesn't even have any javascript, css, or DHTML... yet...

On the downloads page only the first picture works. Other than that it's looking ok.

Being a fan of accessibility, I'd suggest you getting rid of frames and tables you use for design, and replace all that with, for example, a CSS based solution. Not only could more people use your site, it would also look nicer, and have only one banner ad your host places on it. Even though you're saying you will add CSS to your site, I have a strange feeling you'll be only using a tiny portion of it, beating the whole purpose of using CSS, at all.

Don't even think of using JavaScript on your site, just so you'd have it there. Most (if not all) problems you can use JavaScript to solve, you can solve without it, and if it isn't a problem, it doesn't need to be solved, creating accessibility issues. Same goes with DHTML.

There are some other smaller things I should point out, but if you follow those advices I brought out, you might get rid of them yourself. Good luck.

I aggree that CSS would be the best way to go. Also, I recommend that you make new (and more professional looking) buttons for the side bar. If you want ad free hosting, you could run your own server if you have broadband. Its pretty easy (try this site). A different colour scheme would also be nice.
