lost (and found?) repository of technical manuals

Post by anoninja »

greetings all,

i had discovered a repository of technical manuals that began with ARPANET and included at the very least TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6 and dozens of others... it was essentially a repository for the technical specs for networking protocols from ARPANET on. i downloaded it and bookmarked it but then i bricked my chromebook trying to jailbreak it for ubuntu. i made backups of my files, but i wasnt careful enuf and i failed to backup those particular files. im having a hard time remembering where i found them, but i feel like it was from somewhere i linked to through this site, though it may have been many steps away.

does anyone know where i might find this repository or a similar one? it was all in .txt. format....

regards,

You are almost definitely looking for the RFC index.
