Integrity is constantly being ripped apart by people better than you, so you can be efficient to please them, but retain your integrity inside yourself...
Doesn't that mean surrendering to them, admitting that your virtues have no real value?
Ummmm Winter or Summer?
Winter. If I'm cold I can put on warmer clothing, but anything above 24 degrees Celsius belongs into a sauna IMNSHO. I'd be relocating to Sweden today if it weren't for my wife's tendency towards winter depression and me having a job here.
Hard Rock or Hip Hop?
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.
And what #d be next generation without commander data?
@Solar: I couldna agree more. Everything above 23 ?c is pain in the @$$ and torture. One can't even have a good deal of running in that heat. For me it'd suffice to relocate to the upper peak of norway. *rofl* There it'd be cool enuff for winter admirants.
boeuf a la mode or chicken roasted in the wok with zucchini?
Kirk, at least he wasn't a main character in a spin-off series. I kind of prefer the original series, if I was made to choose.
boeuf a la mode or chicken roasted in the wok with zucchini?
The second, since I think it tastes better.
For those who've seen Star Trek's pilot episode, I'll give the same choice captain Kirk had in it: lieutenant Number One or yeoman J. M. Colt, essentially - brains or looks, if you haven't seen the episode.
I'll go for personality ;D Somebody with a good pair of brains can still be a major bastard, and the same thing goes for somebody with dashing looks. I simply don't like bastards, and if you'd have to choose between two persons, simply because of one characteristic of them, it's not a well-supported choice.
Now, in case both people had equally great personalities, I'd choose brains, as it's more refreshing to talk to somebody with good, original ideas or a good understanding. If both people had equally horrible personalities, I'd choose looks, as it's less dangerous than an utter bastard that can plot, instead of an utter bastard that you can stop by simply throwing a blanket over their head.
Argh, Raf! You didn't post a question!
Ah, well. Here's one.
Analogue or digital?

David Gilmour, i think.... the one who didn't sound too old during Live8... there was one of them whose voice hadn't standed the test of time, which I think was ROger Waters, but I could be wrong...
Actually, Water's voice is fine. He was jet-lagged after coming over to London 2 days previously. (He lives in LA).
