This is an explicit request for a flame war. Please, delete this thread if you can (either the thread starter or a moderator).

You are asking linux users for giving pro's for using linux (which they probably all know), and windows users (using a derogatory name) for giving counterexamples. What good is trying to convert people who can well think themselves? On the other hand, what good is there in starting a discussion among likeminded about something that has been beaten to death with more sticks than are in a matchbox?

Stop trying to rush people into a war this way. It's no use, and you will get numerous people against you, or at least against this attitude.

I don't like Linux, but I definitely won't try to convince anyone to use Windows, mainly because I use Linux myself because as much as it annoys me, it annoys me far less than anything else I've tried.

Other than that, I second that this is (yet another) request for flamewar. Flamewars are pretty useless.
