Upgrade

OK, I have upgraded the board. Took about 5 minutes and was easier than I expected. Anyway we are now on the last version of yabbse. 1.55...

need to make a few adjustments again... anyways...

asking for the memberlist will now forceably dump you as if you were logged in as guest. There shouldnt be anyway for people to harvest any emails from here... I hope..

There's just one thing I've mainly noticed, all the <new> tags have moved to the end of the topic names. Could they be moved back? It gives a better/quicker overview of which topics I have and haven't seen.

Well I am glad that this time it didn't have those login problems you had last time you upgraded. Seems like it all went fine, plus the admin center will be faster loading now since it can now connect to the YaBBSE site. :)

More incentive for me to work harder on it. :)

Good, because CBB's progress got really slowed down lately do to my being busy thanks to hurricane Ivan. Lot's of cleanup, and rebuilding to do because of it.

Progress should pick up after things start to get back to normal though. Although since I had a laptop, during the hurricane I did get a few new features in... although without my todo list which was online I wasn't able to get as much done during the power outages as I would have liked.

Hm... could it be the avatars got a bit mixed up? I was using "david boreanaz", and it seems it vanished (but it's still available in the profile selection list - but that might be just my proxy cache)...
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

Are you going to keep the "scolling" code fields?
It?s really annoying when i want to scroll down the whole windows and it?s stops for every code section.

Another vote for old-style vote-fields:
Scrolling panels inside scrolling panels are IMHO an usability hell, and now some code blocks are needlessly big, while other require you to scroll a lot, which makes it harder to get an overview of code.

hmm i only just put scroll fields onto code sections today. i liked it. it means your code doesnt have to wrap etc.

hmm. i didnt think it was a big deal but I can remove it.

u can keep the scrolling left to right but remove it from top-down..
and one other thing, why is my private messages only take up ca 10% of my screen width? look really funny.. :-)

the scrolling, i think its all or nothing. left/right, up/down etc.
i have removed it so it doesnt matter.

10% width? hmm.. mine go all the way across..
