All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

De quote gaat eigenlijk over Hollanders die niet enkel op message boards en nieuwsgroepen, maar ook (irl) op campings en Spaanse badplaatsen samentroepen. Zo heb ik het toch begrepen.

Bj?rn Kahlenberg speaks English as if he's from England though, and that's mostly because he doesn't want to be recognized as a German when he goes on holiday to the coast ;D See how they behave and you'd do what he does for less ;)

*rofl* Very true. In fact, the Emnid institute found out last week that 2/3 of all Germans have already felt embarassed for other Germans during holidays.

But, err, who's "Bjoern Kahlenberg" ? By the way, I - Lester - think I'll be outta town for the next couple of ... years? *whistle*

Cheers,
Lester

I would certainly like to learn Dutch, because I'd love to stay in the Netherlands for a while (if not move there and stay put!) I'm a dual British-Australian citizen, meaning I'm a member of the EU, so maybe I can stay in the Netherlands without VISA problems...

Also, I'd like to visit Denmark, check out Germany, head up to Sweden, then visit Finland, and Norway, and... ;D

Dutch's not that hard to learn, I guess. We could teach you the basics if you'd want to.
