Has anyone seen a topic created by Octocontrabass?

IMO, he/she's a treasure to the community.

He/she posts a lot of useful replies to topics, yet I haven't seen any topics started by him/her.

Anyone know of one?

Some of us have a bit of time and knowledge that we can share. It's OK. I have been mostly replying on forums as well.

Most of the posts on these forums are questions or arguments that have been had many times. There's little reason, on the whole, for knowledgeable members to start new threads.

Not unusual. When you look at high-reputation users on StackOverflow, for example, you will find that their answers outnumber their questions 100:1, easily.
