Is there something wrong with me?

Now I know you all are saying yes, but seriously, I hate this about myself:

I always get ideas for games and computer applications, and other things dealing with computers. I also get ideas for stories, and poems, and plays, etc. (I write a lot). So once I get an idea, I get so excited about it, and start working on it. Then a few days later, I could care less about it and get a new idea and begin working on something else.

THIS is the reason that DQ2 took so long. I never felt like working on it and stuff, and lost interest. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it just me?

Do like I do, put all those ideas into one game (or story, or play). It adds depth...

perhaps so eero. but i just hate how i lose interest in some, or never even start some of the ideas i got.

It happend to me few days ago.
I was watching Beavis & Butt-head: Do America (I love those guys ;D), and then I started thinking how cool it would be If I'd make a game something like that (not the same characters and a little bit different story).
I couldn't sleep all night, I kept thinking about it, again, again and again.
And there you have it, I'm makign a game (my first game in AGS)

Christmas was near. I wanted to make a game for Christmas. I had to do 3 more rooms, and when I didn't get the game ready for Christmas I lost intrest
That's why I'll probably release the in 2 months or so if not sooner ;D

That's Tarantino Tactics. (try saying that three times fast )
He writes 3 stories and then works them into eachother. Eg, Pulp Fiction or Resovoir Dogs.

well i know i have a creative mind, because i get ideas for a lot of things that i enjoy (using the computer, writing, reading, etc.). maybe it just happens to creative people. i just wanted to know if it happened to others here.

All the time I'm still thinking of a game in which my genetics-classes from last year'll be used in... enabling the player to breed animals or monsters and create new species. Ideas enough, and more coming every day, but to work them out...
