uh oh. i think i have a virus.

i think i have a virus on my other pc. it will randomly restart sometimes. once i was burning a cd and it restarted in the middle of it. just now i started it up, and it restarted a few minutes later. i think i have heard about this virus before. what virus is it and how can i remove it. i am currently scanning my computer for viruses, but i did it last weekend and it didnt find one, so i am wondering if mcaffee isnt picking it up. i just updated the .dat files, but if this doesnt work how can i remove it?

It might not be a virus... Have you recently added any hardware to your computer?

i have a dlink wireless network thingy. when my pc restarted it said i recovered from a critical error and i viewed details and it said something about the ip address. i just skimmed through it so i dont know. next time it happens i will actually read it. but i think it might have something to do with that cause i couldnt find any viruses.
