PD-Windows paid development

Post by kerravon »

Hello.

I have a public domain (explicit notice) partial Windows clone called PD-Windows which can be seen here:

http://pdos.sourceforge.net/

It is already capable of running text-based Windows executables.

I am interested in pushing this project forward, and am looking to pay a hobbyist/student around US$50/month to work on the project for a few hours per week that doesn't interfere with their studies.

My main interest at the moment is to get PD-Windows to be self-hosted, which at the moment requires "ar" from binutils to be debugged, as it is not working when linked with my own C library, PDPCLIB, probably due to a bug in PDPCLIB that needs to be tracked down. After that, other software needs to work, like the rest of binutils, dmake, a format and fdisk need to be written.

Is anyone interested? Code changes must be public domain.

Thanks. Paul.

Could you move project to Github? I am not comfortable with sourceforge (for their bad design).
I like your project, But I'm not in US and I'm too busy 'till July.

You can just email me code changes. I'm not ready to move off sourceforge.

I'm not in the US either. Let me know when you're ready. :-)
