Counter-Strike is a mod for Half-Life. You'll need Half-Life to install Counter-Strike.

You'll play as a terrorist or an anti terrorist. You can set up a bomb, execute some hostages...

I played only the training course in Counter-Strike since
the main game are multiplayer.

Yeah, so does Half-Life, but CS needs alot more grunt than the original game.

Regardless of either, I don't have the requirements for it. My computer is hanging by a thread as it is and it's not with a Matrox 220 video card that I'll be able to run half-life, especially since they Matrox has stopped making drivers for it since directx 6.1.
