I've still got an Apricot Portable (from the second video) in a cupboard somewhere. It came in a rigid plastic carrying case and the (separate) keyboard communicated with the computer via an optical link. It ran a proprietary GUI on top of a custom version of MS-DOS. It was a nice machine for its time.
