Guess that game, now with creators!
Re:Guess that game, now with creators!
No, it IS a sports game, but sometimes sportsgames have seperate categories... ::)
Re:Guess that game, now with creators!
1990 I think...
Another (and probably the last) hint: It has an editor.
You should know by now!

Okay, this one should be nice and difficult...
This game saw a few different versions before it was actually released. Gibson was one of the original programmers. Lawson later became the main programmer. Hetherington followed the project all along, he may have done programming...but, there isn't anything that says that he did or didn't.
John Gibson
David H. Lawson
Ian Hetherington

Re:Guess that game, now with creators!
Since Bandersnatch was never actually released, I would have to say that is wrong.
However, bandersnatch was released under a different name for the Amiga (and later the Atari ST and MAC) by Psygnosis (the company Ian Hetherington founded).
This was the first title by Psygnosis.
Close but no cookie.

Ok, found other games by them. One is 'Gift from the Gods' and that'll be second my guess. This site has all the names, so it'll make guessing a lot easier ;D

Sorry, I think I misled you a bit. The game that bandersnatch became is the right answer. So now you just have to find out what it became. John Gibson didn't work on the final release. Remember it was a Psygnosis release, not Imagine.
So, to rephrase the question:
What game, originally promoted as Bandersnatch, was programmed by David H. Lawson and released by Ian Hetherington's complany Psygnosis?
