Hello everybody. Just started to get into OS development. Seems like its going to take a lot of effort to get used to. Just finished Barebones and studied it forwards and backwards. The only thing I don't understand is the linker file. Anybody know any good resources to learn about those? Welp, on to the meaty skeleton tutorial.
Besides that, a little about me I guess.
-2nd year Comp Sci student
-I currently have a low level technician job in IT
-Planning to hopefully go into something dealing with AI
-Besides this type of stuff, I am also a musician and I am a news junky when it comes to politics
Nice to meet you all!
Hello everybody

Hello!
Like you OP, I just started doing OS dev a week ago after spending couple of years programming userspace applications in C and C++. I guess I could also list a couple of things about me.
