It's not necessary to use a password when accessing the internet. I don't think Icabod has hacked Rich's pc just so he could post here with Rich's IP.

Yeah, internet doesn't require a password. My internet turns on instantly when my pc turns on. I am guessing Robin is thinking of isp's like AOL which require a password to use the internet.

There was no hacking involved. I let him use my computer. And correct, no password was required. However, I doubt this occured more than once or twice and it has been a long time since Icabod has been over to my house, hence used my computer. Remember, we are no longer friends.

anyway, chris, i think its unsafe to have your cable modem ALWAYS on. it isnt too good of an idea. people will always be able to hack into it. my cable modem has a stand by button. i press that when im offline so no one hacks into it. but my dad installed zone alarm pro, to stop hackers. it says there are like 30 hack attemps within the last 20 days. just wanted to let you know, even though you are most likely well aware of it.

Joey, do I need to spell this out for you? There was a time a few years back that Icabod and I used to be friends. Like friends often do, we would get together at each other's houses. And it is a pretty typical thing to let a friend check e-mail, or what not when he is at your house. Or check messageboards. This is can be done while the other person is in the bathroom or making a sandwich or what ever. But, like I said, he hasn't been to my house for a long, long time. Any posts since then, he has made on his own. I'm sorry, but you're just an idiot. Your accusations that I am Icabod, and you trying to prove are futile and stupid. It can't be proved because it's not true. You're wasting your time. Why don't you use that time instead to go program Date Quest 2. I am through with defending myself to you. I hope a 13 year old has better things to do. Hack attempts? ZA is quite paranoid, and will inform you of anything making reference to your IP, from pings to actual hacks.
