You can't use php or cgi/perl on geocities.

To use php you have to download it and install it on your pc. Of course you will need a server software such as apache to use php or perl/cgi.

I like to use a program called phptriad, it installs php, mysql, and apache all in 1 program.

Just download and install it, and in no time at all you will have apache, php, and mysql installed on your pc.

On the PHP triad thing...what does this actually do? I have it but how do i use it?....should we start a new PHP thread? I am getting a PHP hosting place...so i will be able to use it...so i just need to know a little basic.
