I was recently on wikipedia when I came across "Bell's Law of Computer Classes". It basically says every 10 or so there is a new class of computers that change the class before it. It says that Bell Labs predicts that the next class called the "CPSD" will take over the market. I googled it but I couldn't find a single article that explained what it was in detail. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about this?
Here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell%27s_L ... er_Classes.
Thanks,
Jackson
CPSD Computer Class
Re: CPSD Computer Class
The CPSD is "cell phone sized devices", i.e. smart phones, tabs, etc.
The prediction there is coming true. More and more people are now having such devices and using them for email, chat, browsing, etc.
CPSDs have in reality up to a certain extent substituted PCs.
They have evolved without attachment (as described in the article).

Re: CPSD Computer Class
Given that the new version of windows works better on a tablet than a desktop, I think you just got the proof you needed.
