I like the idea of grub-mount. That's an excellent addition.

If they only had kept the usability of GRUB 1...

Writing a script that creates a partitioned hard disk image with GRUB installed on it used to be pretty easy. With GRUB 2 it has become a PITA. Let's hope that with 2.00 it has become at least a stable PITA that doesn't keep changing with each version.
