i would like to make my own version of pok?mon on gameboy advanced how should i do this?
edit an existing game or make one from scratch and which programs should I use
as for programming i can program in vb.net...

Aside from that, I'm sure there're romhacking tools for Pok?mon games out there. I'll see what Google comes up with in a sec.

Edit: A map editor and a sound replacement tool. These should get you on your way.
