MOS is now open source

Post by prajwal »

Hello Friends,

It's been quite some time that I made my OS project MOS - Mother Operating System open source. But I just been busy with other walks of life that I did not inform on this forum.

sourceforge link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mosland/

This operating system was written by me from scratch starting from enabling A20 line, switching to protected mode, multi process support, ELF support, GCC, minimal libc, binutils porting and last thing I accomplished was a working EHCI USB mass storage device driver. Also modified GRUB bootloader to support MOS filesystem and been able to boot MOS from USB thumb drive...

Please also have a look at the website www.themosland.110mb.com.. yeah the content on this website was updated 4 years back and lots of things have changed since then, don't take it too seriously :)

I hope this project would be of some little help someone out there.

Thanks,
- Prajwala
