I need to find out BIOS device number of CD. How do I do that???(it would be better with code)

yes, I saw this page, but is there any other way to find it? Maybe somewhere in bios memory area or something?

Two things:
- If you knew the answer, you asked the wrong question.
- If you know a working solution, why bother to find a different way? (In other words, you asked another bad question)
