Odd. I've found Visual C++'s Intellisense to be extremely responsive and fast (except for perhaps the first time it is invoked) vs. the code completion in Borland C++ Builder which is slow and buggy and really is more of a nuisance than a help. However, I find Visual C++ code completion helpful enough just in terms of reducing the amount of typing that needs to be done and reducing typos that I consider it a piece of basic functionality in any IDE if it is to be worth my time to use.Candy wrote: Used it, didn't like it (mainly the incredible slowdown on the full system right before it gives a useless hint). For me it mostly slows my system down when I'm quickly typing a load of code not caring about hints since I know them like the back of my hand.
On the other hand, nice to know it has a name.

Yup In my experience so far, I too have found it very fast and easy to type in the code. Avoiding un-necessary typos all along the way.
