Thanks for the leads =D> I had stumbled across the MIT OCW site myself and inadvertently stumbled across http://pdos.csail.mit.edu/6.828/2009 as well.

How do indian universities compare to universities in other countries when talking about technology? It bothers me when there is always someone who talks about indian universities, indian or not. Are they great or is it just that there are so many indians, that if 6% of them go to university and talk about it on internet, Finland had to breed 1 000 000 more people and send whole population online spamming to beat them?

Do nationalities begin with majuscule?

There's the University Rankings... Only two indian universities are listed and both are in the bottom regions. (there are at least 9 other institutes in India that did not make it to the list)

I should add that the metrics used may not be completely fair.

Hi,
I found one more good site .http://www.freevideolectures.com .

@fronty:honestly Indian technical education is not as good when compared to foreign universities(US & Europe). But if you are looking for theory, then Indian universities at least as good as others. But when it comes to applied sciences, they are not so great. But the good part is almost anyone in India can go to a university and study, education is not as expensive as it is abroad. But if you truly want to learn at heart then nothing really matters (including the brand of your university  ).There are lot resources online where you can learn from and that was exactly the point of my first post  .

Yup, I have myself trouble with that, in Romanian it's not with majuscule(no spelling correction, but I think it's "capitalized").

Yeah, in Finnish nationalities and languages aren't capitalized (wow, Finnish needs special word for that), even when used like "suomen kieli" (Finnish language, literally Finland's language). Little differences like this are annoying.

Shortly back to topic. You can often find slides and other material from uni courses if you just google "foo course". If you don't mind loosing results from other parts of world, site:edu is handy.
