Re: OS Project list
those are my goals in the long run and currently my/our goals are to create an OS which can run programs and has a GUI then we work on adding more support over time.

Re: OS Project list
That is a lot of peoples goals, some fail straight away because they don't understand the fundamentals behind it and can't program it. Good luck it will take you years if you are starting from scratchbluechill wrote:those are my goals in the long run and currently my/our goals are to create an OS which can run programs and has a GUI then we work on adding more support over time.

Re: OS Project list
For most hobby OSs I would consider labeling the kernel as part of the OS(and therefore part of the same project).. but if you have separate websites, then that works too I guess..LadySerenaKitty wrote:♫ Do you want the kernel project, the OS project, or both? ♫♥

♫ My kernel and OS are two separate projects. I'll just link to the kernel for now. ♫♥earlz wrote:For most hobby OSs I would consider labeling the kernel as part of the OS(and therefore part of the same project).. but if you have separate websites, then that works too I guess..LadySerenaKitty wrote:♫ Do you want the kernel project, the OS project, or both? ♫♥

Re: OS Project list
Hi,
would be nice if someone could add my OS to the project-list:
Name: Escape
Desc: Escape is a 32-Bit microkernel operating system for X86 that supports multitasking and multithreading. It's implemented in ANSI C, C++ and a bit assembler and most parts of it are UNIX-like. The goal is to experiment with it and learn as much as possible about operating systems, hardware and so on.

Contact: Nils Asmussen (nils AT script-solution DOT de)
Version: 0.3
Thanks!
